A Builder by Habit, An Engineer by Training

I am an engineer by training and a builder by habit. I studied Information Technology, and my first working years were spent close to the machinery of business systems: Oracle databases, Unix scripts, and then three years in Bengaluru implementing operations and billing systems for a national telecom operator.

In 2011 I started a company in Roorkee with Dr. Aarzoo Saini. We wrote software for distributors, then for clinics, restaurants, hotels and schools, and later for clients outside India. Some of that work grew into separate organisations: an AI and automation company, a digital services company, an AI and cybersecurity company, and an institute where students learn practical AI and IT skills.

In 2019 I took a step back to move forward: I studied Class 12 biology, sat NEET in 2020 and spent the next five years in medical college studying homoeopathic medicine. I finished the academic programme in February 2026 and I am now in clinical internship, working with patients under supervision.

Alongside the BHMS degree I trained in areas that sit close to it: an MA in Yoga and Naturopathic Sciences from Uttarakhand Open University, Reiki in the lineage of Lisa Powers, and an Achology life coaching and counselling certification. They shape how I talk with people about sleep, food, routine and stress, which is often where a case actually turns.

My clinical home is Dr. Suresh Homoeopathic Clinic, established in Roorkee in 1980 by Dr. Suresh Saini. Working with a practice that has seen patients for more than four decades is its own education: you watch how a physician follows a case over years rather than weeks. People sometimes ask whether I left technology. I did not. I still lead technology at the companies I co-founded and still take on AI work. What changed is that I now look at problems from two positions: the engineer who asks how a system should work, and the clinician who asks what this particular person needs.

I write because words have the power to bring order to inner chaos.

When we experience loss, uncertainty, or the quiet ache of unfulfilled expectations, we often feel completely alone. We imagine that our confusion is unique to our personal history. Yet when you read an essay written centuries ago, or a poem drafted on another continent, you suddenly realize that human beings have been wrestling with the exact same doubts since the beginning of recorded thought.

My hope with this website, with my books, and with my poetry is to provide that same sense of quiet companionship for the reader. I do not offer formulaic advice or guaranteed blueprints for success. What I offer is an honest record of observation, reflection, and the ongoing effort to live with dignity, discipline, and self-respect.

My principal publication to date is From Mess to Masterpiece, an exploration of how life's untidy periods are not interruptions to our work, but the very material from which clarity and purpose are forged.

In addition to full-length books, I publish regular longform essays, short lyrical poetry, thoughts, and dated journal entries through this platform. Everything published here is crafted with care, edited without haste, and intended to be read unhurriedly.
